Kirsten Smith, affectionately known as Kirbo, is one of our highly skilled Tri Series Champs CATS team and the winner of the 2026 Club Player of the Year Award.
Committed to her team and supportive of other teams, she is often the first to volunteer not just for WNC but also NNA. Kirbo's positive attitude makes her not just a great player but she lifts those around her with her uncompromising encouragement. A competitive player, she also displays core club values of sportsmanship and integrity.
When asked about her award Kirbo said-
"Super excited, it was a big shock, I was very surprised, I am just really grateful to get this award."
Thinking ahead for season 2027, Kirbo had this to say-
"I hope that we can keep building on what we already did in 2026, we have an amazing squad, so just hoping we can push closer to that top four next year and just keep driving as a whole club."
Well done Kirbo!
